NATAN’s team of medical and trauma relief experts are deployed in Adiyaman, in the center of  the disaster zone.

11-FEB-23, Adiyaman, Turkey – NATAN volunteer doctors, Dr. Yoav Carsenty and Dr. Sharon Shaul use portable ultrasound equipment to examine an earthquake survivor. The portable ultrasound equipment was generously donated by STELP – Germany.

11-FEB-23 – NATAN doctors examine a 14 year old girl who has just been rescued together with her parents and other family members after 5 days trapped in the rubble. The child is conscious and able to communicate with family members as well as medical staff.  To learn more about our operation, please click here. 

11-FEB-23, Adiyaman, Turkey – NATAN doctors examine a survivor of the Feb 6 earthquake, dramatically rescued from the rubble a full 5 days after the quake.

11-FEB-23  – NATAN medical team working alongside local doctors, nurses and medics at the Adiyaman hospital in southeastern Turkey. Many survivors have been brought here, including children who were rescued from the ruins after 5 days. Local medical teams and courageous rescuers have been working tirelessly around the clock since Monday’s earthquake. 11-FEB-23 – After a long day at the local hospital, NATAN Dr. Yoav Carsenty arrives at a sports center in the city being used to house earthquake survivors, where the work goes on.  Click here to donate to our vital work. 

The NATAN team is now deployed in Adiyaman Province, at the center of the disaster zone – between the sites of the two earthquakes which struck Monday Feb. 6th. The city of Kahta in Adiyaman Province welcomed the NATAN delegation and arranged temporary accommodations in a university dormitory.

10-2-23 NATAN Team officially welcomed by the Mayor of Kahta and local officials. NATAN has been designated as an official aid provider by the local authorities. Kahta is located in the province of Adiyaman in southeastern Turkey, near the center of the earthquake disaster zone.
