Supporting Displaced Civilians
Amidst the harrowing events of the pogrom, NATAN’s primary focus is on the tens of thousands of civilians who have been displaced from their homes. These resilient individuals have witnessed the horrors of war and now find temporary refuge in hotels across the country.
Our leading team receives numerous calls throughout the day to intervene in various locations. We are wholeheartedly dedicated to providing deep and continuous professional support.

We have taken swift and resolute action on the healthcare front.
NATAN is currently operating two medical clinics for displaced people, in collaboration with Clalit Health Services. The first clinic, situated in the heart of the country, caters to 400 people of all ages. Today, we opened of our second clinic, located by the Dead Sea, serving 6,000 individuals. This number is expected to grow to 8,000 in the coming days, as the hotels in the region reach full occupancy.
Additionally, on Sunday the 15th, we will inaugurate an emergency dental clinic in partnership with Alpha Omega.
The entire team is comprised exclusively of dedicated NATAN volunteers. Our call for GP physicians was met with an overwhelming 199 applications within a few hours.

NATAN’s profound expertise lies in trauma and psychosocial care. Our dedicated volunteer social workers are actively engaged in various projects:
1.In Ofaqim, located 23 kilometers from Gaza, residents have endured severe attacks, resulting in the loss of 50 lives, mostly within their homes. In collaboration with the Municipality Social Services, NATAN’s social workers are conducting door-to-door visits to support survivors.
2.NATAN will establish a Community Resilience Center in Ofaqim and ensure its operational sustainability for one year. This initiative will address the immediate trauma and help to build a resilient and empowered community for the future.
3. Recognizing the acute trauma faced by Security Forces on the frontlines, we have deployed eight NATAN Social Workers to offer support to the police force and widows who have reached out for assistance.
4. Youth counselors from the Machanot Olim movement have set up an activity center for young survivors residing in a resort near Jerusalem. Neither the children nor their caregivers have ever encountered such extreme trauma. NATAN is there to provide essential skills and support for the caregivers.
