Marvin is president of The Shadow Group, a creative and strategic marketing consulting firm. He serves as a professor at Pratt Institute and NYU and is a founding board member of the Bronx Charter School for Better Learning. Marvin was a communications advisor to President Obama’s 2008 and 2012 campaigns and Hillary Clinton’s 2016 bid. Previously, he was Executive Creative Director and Vice President at Young & Rubicam. An author and performer, he has appeared with the Upright Citizens’ Brigade. Marvin has held board positions at Generations United and Business for America. He is married to Ellen and has a large family.
