Alan Silberstein is president of Allston Associates, specializing in retail financial services, fintech, and turnaround management. He served on several corporate boards and retired as CEO of Western Union in 2001. Previously, he held senior executive positions at Travelers Insurance, Midlantic Bank, and Chemical Bank. Earlier, he worked for the NYC Bureau of the Budget and Ford Motor Company. Alan chairs the Forward Association and serves on boards for Columbia University, Tel Aviv University, and Seton Hall University. A member of the Council on Foreign Relations, he holds degrees from Columbia and Harvard. Alan has supported NATAN for five years.
