Ukraine Telemedicine Project
July 2023
NATAN is now providing telemedicine services in Eastern Ukraine in collaboration with medical volunteers who operate a mobile clinic. The clinic operates using a telemedicine method in collaboration with:
The concept of telemedicine is based on providing access to healthcare through cutting-edge technology and engaging leading Israel-based medical experts. During the sessions, doctors perform necessary diagnostics using advanced technologies and provide telemedicine consultation with detailed recommendations for immediate action or a follow-up with local medical professionals.
The clinic is operated in the field by medical volunteers who communicate with NATAN's Russian and Ukrainian speaking volunteer doctors, trained by the "ZiphyCare" organization to use specialized remote-access medical equipment.
This project provides a solution of primary medicine delivered to the local population on the front lines. Our partners, the Zgraya team of volunteers, is now located in the Donetsk region which is in the war zone. They provide medical consultation via state-of-the-art telemedicine equipment. Using this technology, a team of Israeli doctors provides assistance to patients in the city of Konstantinivka.
