In the wake of a catastrophic earthquake that struck near Marrakech on Friday night, claiming the lives of 820 individuals and leaving more than 350 wounded, NATAN Worldwide Disaster Relief is swiftly mobilizing to provide critical medical and trauma care to the affected population. With over two decades of experience responding to natural and man-made disasters globally, NATAN is well-prepared to deliver essential assistance in this time of crisis.
The first team, comprised of doctors, nurses, and assessment professionals, departed Saturday night, September 10, 2023, less than 24 hours after the tragedy struck. Their mission is to work shoulder to shoulder with local teams, leveraging their expertise to provide immediate support where it's needed most.
NATAN's dedicated team of medical and trauma care experts, all volunteers, boasts extensive licensure and experience in the most vital areas of disaster relief. Their mission is to deliver primary care wherever it is needed most, drawing from their invaluable experience in responding to previous emergencies, such as the recent earthquake in Turkey and the conflict in Ukraine.
