Pediatric Rehabilitation in Conflict Zones
NIFLA (נפל"א)
Children in global conflict zones face trauma that extends far beyond immediate physical injury, often losing access to the specialized rehabilitation essential for their development. Without customized mobility aids and therapeutic support, those with disabilities have little hope for long term recovery. To address this, NATAN Worldwide Disaster Relief partnered with ALYN Hospital to bring world class clinical expertise and affordable assistive technologies to the world’s most challenging environments.
Through a specialized tele-support model, experts provide remote assessments and tailored interventions for mobility, communication, and play in areas with limited connectivity. By training local therapists and establishing sustainable supply chains, the initiative ensures long term capacity building within these communities. From rapid mobility aids to multilingual communication tools, this collaboration provides a critical path to recovery for the most vulnerable children, proving that clinical innovation can restore hope even in ruins.
