New Medical Clinic for 10,000 Children in Gaza
We are excited to announce the opening of a new medical clinic at the Mega Academy of the Gaza Children’s Village (GCV), a humanitarian initiative providing children across Gaza with daily education through a hate-free curriculum, along with nutrition, healthcare, and trauma-informed support.
The clinic will provide essential pediatric care to as many as 10,000 children.
NATAN’s new clinic delivers what the Mega Academy’s thousands of children have lacked until now: routine healthcare, vaccination, and treatment. Staffed by GCV nurses and doctors and supported remotely by NATAN through telemedicine, the clinic provides preventive screening, pediatric primary care, specialist consultations, and dedicated rehabilitation support for children with disabilities — closing a critical gap in a population that, until now, had safety and education but not health.
NATAN's Dignity Kits
Women and girls in Gaza face a critical lack of access to menstrual hygiene products due to displacement, overcrowding, and severely restricted sanitation facilities. These conditions significantly undermine their physical health and personal dignity. Furthermore, import restrictions make disposable supplies extremely scarce, and minimal waste management infrastructure makes disposable products not a relevant option.
In November 2025, NATAN launched a humanitarian initiative in Khan Younis to provide a sustainable solution to these challenges. Working in collaboration with the Gaza Children Village (GCV), NATAN distributed 2,000 dignity kits containing reusable menstrual pads to women caregivers connected to GCV academies. To ensure the program was respectful of local norms, the distribution was carried out through a culturally sensitive and discreet process, using a token-based invitation system and providing detailed instructions in Arabic.
The program is set for a significant expansion in 2026, with the planned entry of 20,000 additional kits that will include lice combs to address urgent hygiene and sanitation needs.
