Operations
Oded Regev is an active volunteer and longstanding member of NATAN. He has served as NATAN’s Head of Mission in several operations. Oded has over 20 years’ experience in administrative management and holds a BA in Business Management from the University of Haifa. He is currently manager of the small businesses at Kibbutz Maagan Michael.

Manager, Communications
Gaya Hoffman is Manager of Communications for NATAN Worldwide Disaster Relief.
Like NATAN itself, Gaya is an Israeli-born citizen of the world. Truly a global professional, Gaya graduated from Maastricht University with a degree in International Development and Globalization.

Policy and Procedures
Mike has been with NATAN for over 10 years, serving as an active member of NATAN’s Board and leading a 2022 relief team providing aid to Ukrainian refugees. Mike serves as a disaster response consultant to The Joint (American Jewish Joint Distribution Committee). He also serves as a medic at Magen David Adom, the national ambulance service. He holds a BA in Economics from Bates College in Lewiston, Maine and MBA from Tel Aviv University and a second master’s degree in Public Health and Disaster Management.

Communications
Nili Bresler has volunteered with NATAN for over 10 years, and took on the role of leading the Communication team in 2016. Nili holds a bachelor’s degree in International Relations and Economics from New York University. She is a professional Project Manager with a certificate from PMI (Project Management Institute) and also holds a certificate in Training and Staff Development from New York University’s Management Institute.

Design and Creative
Therese Berkowitz is NATAN’s chief designer. As a graduate of the Fashion Institute of Technology in Manhattan and a 30+ year career in advertising, Therese’s experience includes illustration, graphic design and art direction. Inspired by our work and mission, she volunteers with NATAN and supports our design efforts working on everything from social media to print brochures, annual reports and our newsletter.

Information Technology
Noam joined NATAN in 2020 to lead Information Technology, leading NATAN’s internet technologies, cloud computing and back-office integration. He is a technology professional and trainer with over 10 years’ experience in the private sector. Noam holds a BA in Business Management from the Open University of Israel. He is currently CEO at Badarom Technologies Ltd., an Information Technology & Services company which he co-founded in 2011.

Writer and Editor
Helen Zelon is a prize-winning journalist and nonprofit communications leader with strong commitments to social justice and advancing stories that otherwise go untold. A graduate of the University of California, Berkeley, Helen has spent her career writing, reporting, editing, teaching and mentoring. She began volunteering with NATAN several years ago, and is now Editor of NATAN documentation and publications, including the monthly newsletter.

Oversight Committee
Gal Yoffe took on the role of Chief Operations Officer of NATAN in October 2017. Prior to that, he had been responsible for Logistics as part of NATAN’s core team of professionals. He served as Head of Mission for Natan’s refugee aid operation in Serbia in 2016. Gal specializes in managing humanitarian operations and in the deployment of teams in the field, as well as infrastructure and systems. He is a graduate of Tel Aviv University’s MPH program in Emergency and Disaster Management.

Social Impact
Dana Rubin heads NATAN’s Social Impact Development Team. She has over 20 years of experience in senior positions in global companies with expertise in sustainability, public relations and investor relations. Dana holds a BA in Communications and Management and an MBA, as well as a certificate in Sustainability Practices from The Corporate Social Responsibility Institute. Dana is a mentor helping start-ups and entrepreneurs to develop and implement solutions to social and environmental problems.

Medical Relief
Dr. Sharon Shaul leads NATAN's medical operations in disaster areas. Sharon is responsible for the recruitment and training of the medical staff volunteers. By developing partnerships with local and international organizations, she identifies and locates where NATAN can make a difference and create an impact.

Chairperson
Danny studied Education and French Literature at the Hebrew University in Jerusalem. Before joining NATAN, Danny was the Director of International Development, Geneva, of World ORT, one of the largest education and training non-governmental organizations in the world, where he ran rescue and development projects in Haiti, Mali, Niger and Guinea.

Psychosocial Aid
Dr. Shahar is Deputy Director of Welfare for the City of Ofakim and is a lecturer in the School of Social Work at Ben Gurion University. With NATAN, Eitan has participated in many international aid operations including Georgia, Haiti, Angola, Serbia and Greece. Most recently, Eitan led psychosocial relief efforts in Haiti as part of the NATAN/Operation Blessing joint relief operation following the magnitude 7.2 earthquake which shook Haiti on August 14, 2021.

Human Resources
Anat Belluco leads NATAN’s HR team and is the Project Lead for the Gaza Health Center. A Graduate of Ben Gurion University, she holds a Masters in Psychology. During 35 years of professional experience she managed and became an expert at the various professional fields of Human Resources: compensation & benefits, training, OD, recruitment, welfare, security and safety, in diverse organizations in the private sector.

Founder and Public Health
Adi is a Registered Nurse and Public Health manager with master’s degrees in Risk and Disaster Management and Health Administration. She was one of the initiators of NATAN’s first disaster relief operation in Sri Lanka in 2004-2005 and is the founder of an international development organization, Eden Aid, which promotes human rights, women’s rights and the rights of youth and children.

Founder and Treasurer
Itzik is one of the founding members of NATAN, a lifelong humanitarian and community activist with extensive global experience. He helped found NATAN in 2004, where he now serves as Treasurer, Board Member and Head of Volunteer HR. In addition to taking a central role in planning disaster relief operations, Itzik also leads HR recruiting, interviewing and vetting volunteers for active assignments.

Operations
Gil Reines served in the air force and holds a BA in Sociology and a degree in family mediation. Over the past 6 years Gil has served with NATAN at disaster sites all over the globe. Gil has been leading NATAN’s mobile dental clinic projects since 2018. Most recently Gil was in Cucuta, Colombia leading the operation to protect and support women and children fleeing Venezuela: The Center for Migrant Women.

Education
Udi Cohen is a key member of NATAN’s core professional team and leads initiatives in education and social impact development. In 2017, he served as NATAN’s Head of Mission on Lesbos island, Greece. He oversaw the OHF Community and Education Center for refugees and served as liaison with the UNHCR. He holds a BA degree in Education, a teaching certificate for early childhood education, and MAs in Jewish Studies and in the management of non-profit organizations.

Ukraine Project Manager
Ira Lutz holds a master's degree in Biology Education from the National University in the city of Zaporizhya in Ukraine. After immigrating to Israel, Ira completed her certificate studies in leading groups in intercultural transition at the Kibbutz Seminary College. At NATAN, Ira manages projects that the organization operates in Ukraine, including the ongoing Ukraine Resilience Training Program.

Operations
Leeon Boujo is a graduate of the Hebrew University of Jerusalem where she obtained her M.A in International Development. She is an experienced project manager and has worked and volunteered with many international organizations. Leeon joined NATAN in February 2020 as Operations Manager. She is currently managing the Ukrainian refugee relief operation as well as the health and education operation for remote communities in Nepal.

Database Manager
Natali Mindov is a technology expert with over 20 years’ experience in the field of software development and database management. Her current role is Workflow Analyst at Amdocs, a multinational corporation which specializes in software and services for communications, media, financial services and digital enterprises. She holds a Master’s degree M.Sc, in Electrical Engineering from the Taurian Academy in Melitopol, Ukraine.

Medical Relief
Dorit is a pediatrician, dietitian and epidemiologist, graduated from Tel Aviv and the Babies Hospital, Columbia University, New York. She served as the World Health Organization’s Regional Emergencies Director in Europe until February 2022 when she returned to Israel. Previously Dr. Nitzan was the Director of the Food and Nutrition Administration in the Israeli Ministry of Health. She joined NATAN in 2022 and is currently heading the medical aid team in the Ukraine Refugee Relief Operation.
